Rebecca "Becky" Rairigh - 8 a.m. Worship Organist

I grew up in Western Pennsylvania in North Huntingdon, PA. I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelors and Masters in Music, Organ. I am happily married to Jay and we have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Juliann and Jenilee. I work full time for Citizens Bank as a Senior Teller. God has certainly taken us on a journey and has been present in all that we have done. I am very thankful for His love, His mercy, and His grace in my life. I look forward to serving the Zion Lutheran congregation through my music.

Sue Orth - Director of Outreach

Spiritual Bio: My whole life God has called me to some kind of ministry. I have volunteered on Council, Outreach Committees, taught Sunday School, VBS, Bible Study, Youth and Preteen Ministries and visitation. I know God uses my life experiences to help me minister to people today. In 1999, I left my job in the hospital for a full time position in ministry at Zion Lutheran Church. Each day is full of God’s surprises and I trust in His presence and love.

Personal Bio:
I grew up on a dairy farm in Chester County and my parents still live in the farmhouse.
Married since 1977 to Jeffrey Orth. Have 2 sons, Dan and David, who are both teachers, one in Boston and one in Maryland. No pets at this time except a baby ball python that we are ‘snake-sitting’ for Dan – his birthday present 20 years ago!!

Pastor Bob Lowden

Pastor Lowden has been an ordained minister since 1982, having received his MDiv from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in May of that year. Appreciative for having had the chance to serve as an interim pastor, Pastor Lowden felt called to continue his ministry solely as an Intentional Interim Pastor. Over the years in Delaware-Maryland Synod he served 8 congregations, assisting them to make the transition to new ministry. In 2008 he and his wife, the Reverend Janice Lowden, were called by the ELCA to serve as Regional Representatives to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania and the Lutheran Church in Rwanda.  They lived and worked in Arusha, Tanzania until 2010.

Upon returning to the US, Pastor Lowden’s wife was called to serve Zion Lutheran Church in Landisville and Pastor Lowden continued his work as an Intentional Interim Minister.  He has served in that capacity at 5 churches in the Lower Susquehanna Synod.
